Goals by Brett Pohlmeyer and Sweeney, made it 8-5 with 2:30 remaining in the half and that was the score as the teams headed into the locker room.

It didn’t take long for Sweeney to get his hat trick, as he scored 1:11 into the third. He scored again a couple minutes later, doubling the Panthers lead to 10-5. After Clough scored with 2:42 to go in the third, Sweeney was back at it again, putting an exclamation point on the quarter with 17 seconds left.
